Fw: To remove bad sectors from HDD

On Tuesday, Mr. Dwivedi told that machine HDD can be scanned to remove Bad Sectors by Scandisk command.  This is DOS command and we can run it through bootable CD. DOS is base and still used in many places.  Let me know can we use any other command or commands of same type used in window system. Another thing is why we not add these type of system commands in BIOS setting? PAWAN KUNDRA AMRITSAR
