In the recent time, we have seen in our offices that the WAN links are being used to the fullest level and actual business applications could not get any bandwidth for its use. Based onthe analysis, we found that a virus called Kaaza.com which is sharing the folders across the wan links randomly and start transfering the files in GBs. Hence the entire WAN link becomes choked.
In order to overcome this problem, other than removing the virus, it is advised to put the Access controls in the rourter also which will disallow such a type of traffic. On specific authentic request we may be able to share the Access controls.
